Roger Federer’s new member of the Federer family ”dog Willow” announcement goes viral

When Roger Federer took to Twitter to reveal the Federer family had another member – a dog named Willow. Federer has been sharing positive news recently as his recovery from knee surgery is going very well and he should return as soon as possible later this year.

On Sunday, Federer shared more positive news. “We gave in, but we couldn‘t be happier. Welcome to the family Willow,” Federer wrote in a Twitter post.

While Federer is happy to have a new family member, he admitted he would absolutely love to be at the French Open.

“Great, you know, it’s been. I mean It’s not going great, yet I am content with my advancement. I want to play the French Open at this moment as well as some other competitions so far as that is concerned, however taking some time is going.

So Sad, my knee has been playing a piece entertaining the most recent few years, however, I am doing all very well. Family is great. Everyone is fine, so everything is incredible really,” Federer said of his recuperation.

Federer to return likely in September

Federer has been confirmed for two events so far – the Laver Cup in September and an ATP 500 event in Basel, which is scheduled for October.

Federer, who will be turning 41 in August, wants to retire from tennis in a proper way. “I know Roger is well enough to know that he still has the flame burning to compete,” Federer’s agent Tony Godsick told.

“His genuine inspiration is to return to contend on the ATP visit and kind of attempt to end his vocation, the manner in which he needs to end it sound and fruitful and based on his conditions”. Federer hasn’t played in anywhere near a year as he has been out beginning around 2021 July. Federer went through a knee medical procedure last August and there is definitely not a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of seeing him at Wimbledon this year.
