Read: Jack Nicklaus’ Heartfelt Notes to Spieth, Scheffler and Tiger woods

Jack Nicklaus is the co-GOAT of golf but in terms of penning heartfelt notes to the game’s younger generation, no one tops the 18-time major champion.

Nicklaus’ most recent notes went out to Jordan Spieth (after winning the Heritage), Scottie Scheffler (after winning the Masters), and Tiger Woods (after his Hall of Fame induction).

1. JORDAN SPIETH’S FIRST WIN AS A FATHER

My congratulations to @JordanSpieth on winning the @RBCHeritage at Harbour Town Golf Links. I’m sure you’re happy to not only be back in the winner’s circle but to get your first win as a father. This will be a day your family can look back on and enjoy for years to come. Congratulations also to Patrick Cantlay on a well-played tournament and to the other players who finished just one back of the playoff. Best of luck to everyone as they continue the 2022 season. Keep up the great playing! – Jack

2. SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER’S MAIDEN MAJOR

Today, the World’s No. 1 player proved why he’s No. 1! Barbara and I send congrats to @TheMasters Tournament winner and first-time major champion @Scottie.Scheffler!

Scottie will tell you that he didn’t have his best game at certain times, but he did what the champions do. And that was to resort to a great short-iron game, some excellent putting, and very good discipline. I am very happy and proud of Scottie. Here’s a young man who has won four times in less than two months, and I thought his whole week of golf was terrific. He did what he had to do—and more!

That was a fantastic round today by @RoryMcIlroy. To finish with a 64—and he played well enough to go even lower!—is a pretty darn good round, but unfortunately a little too late.

It was just such a good Masters Tournament! It was wonderful to see all the patrons back and the roars return. Both the players and patrons endured some rough weather and conditions during the tournament, but on cue, it finished with a beautiful, if not gorgeous, Masters Sunday!

3. TIGER WOODS’ HALL OF FAME INDUCTION
