As golf fans awaits the long-awaited return of Tiger Woods, fans could be in for a surprise come Sunday.

Per The Morning Read, “Tiger Woods is expected to arrive at Augusta National tomorrow afternoon, potentially unannounced.”

That doesn’t mean he’s officially playing, of course, but if he’s coming on Sunday, he’s likely preparing to.

The collective sports world has been on hair-trigger to hear the news drop that Tiger will once again compete on the PGA Tour. Those speculations especially caught fire when Woods was reported to have played an 18-hole practice round at Augusta this past week.

Let’s just say fans were… excited by the news.

“TIGER IS ON TO AUGUSTA TOMORROW,” tweeted one account in all-caps.

“My take on all of this?” one user laid out. “He went back home to rest/make sure he felt good after the trip. Now he’s heading back for the week to begin tournament prep. It’s happening y’all. And listen I’m a tiger homer I get it. But he ain’t playing if his game ain’t on point. He’s got a shot.”
