Rafael Nadal wishes Sebastian Korda’s sister speedy recovery from blood clot

Record 21-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal wished golf superstar Nelly Korda a speedy recovery from a blood clot. Recently, Nelly Korda – the elder sister of tennis pro Sebastian Korda – was diagnosed with a blood clot.

Nadal, an avid golf fan, noticed it and wished Nelly Korda a speedy recovery. “On Friday I was in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL for a photoshoot and a commercial appearance. After a typical morning workout, my arm started to feel like it was swelling.

At the advice of my doctor, I went to the Emergency Room as a precaution. I was diagnosed with a blood clot,” Korda wrote. I am currently at home getting treatment to eliminate further risks. I will communicate my status as and when there is more information.

In the meantime, I want to thank everyone for their support and ask for privacy for all our family during this time. I hope to be back soon! Thank you.”

Nadal commented on Nelly Korda’s post
“Vamos, Nelly,” Nadal wrote.

“Get well soon.” Nadal started the season by winning titles at the Melbourne Summer Set, Australian Open and Acapulco. Nadal was limited to just one tournament in the second part of the 2021 season. Before the start of the Indian Wells Masters, Nadal revealed the key to his success in 2022.

“I have always been able to find a way to adapt my game when I have needed to become better,” Nadal said in his pre-tournament press conference in Indian Wells. “Some days I have played aggressively, some days I have played a little more defensively and more tactically.

“My serve has been working well, which is important at this stage in my career. Then I think I have been brave enough to play with the right determination when needed. I am just working hard to continue to improve, but I am happy with the level of tennis and intensity I am showing on court”.
