Raducanu better than Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka in this

Emma Raducanu had a fantastic 2021 that culminated with her incredible US Open title. It’s worth noticing that Emma’s season at the very top started from her run in Wimbledon where she reached the second week after obtaining a wild-card for the main draw. Later, Raducanu could only play some minor tournaments before winning the American major.

Raducanu’s prize money

Emma still needs to find some continuity on the main tour. However, it is interesting to note that she has “beaten” the great Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka in terms of prize money this year.

Serena Williams’s best result of the year was “only” reaching the semifinals at the Australian Open to gather “just” $884,004 in prize money.

Naomi Osaka won the Australian Open to collect in total $2,306,222. Emma Raducanu went one step further to win $2,807,446 thanks to the generous prize money earned at the US Open ($2,500,000).

Emma is currently in the Middle East where she is undertaking the so-called preseason. She is expected to fly to Australia in roughly 10 days.
